Lawn Tennis Association
The Lawn
Tennis Association (L.T.A) are the awarding body
for Tennis within the UK. They set the high standards
which our club maintains. The Lawn Tennis Assocation
sets the quality of tennis required around the country
so that clubs can become affiliated to get their seal
of approval. PRF Tennis is an affiliated club thriving
to receive the prestigous performance status for junior
members. All our tennis
coaches are fully qualified to L.T.A regulations
and have a variety of expertise.
The L.T.A promote all types of tennis techniques which
PRF Tennis implements to give our customers the high
quality of coaching and highest level of enjoyment.
Mini Tennis and Raw
Tennis are two techniques which are aimed at our
younger tennis players. The L.T.A also use these techniques
to help encourage and increase the number of new tennis
players in the UK. This is through the promotion of
tennis within clubs and schools.
The L.T.A also regulate
a ranking and rating system for junior and adult tennis
throughout the country. These benchmarks of performance
are crucial to the development of competitive tennis
throughout the country. Without an L.T.A rating, you
can not receive those crucial rating points, or in some
cases, even enter tournaments; as these can be specially
designed for players who wish to increase their L.T.A
rating.
Being a member of the L.T.A
also entitles you to many benefits including their monthly
magazine and special discounts that are only available
to L.T.A members.
